About Us

The sustainable event measurement tool is provided by TBLA Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. TBLA is short for the Triple Bottom Line Alliance and is a joint collaboration between MCI, MeetGreen® and The Carbon Consultancy, whose combined expertise covers all areas of measurement and implementation of sustainability in the global meetings and events industry. The initial development of the tool has been sponsored by Meeting Professionals International on behalf of the global meetings and events industry. TBLA were selected to provide this tool based upon a tender process that involved a wide range of industry experts in this area.

The launch of the tool is the beginning of an evolutionary process designed to support wider engagement and achievement by the industry in response to the challenges posed by finite resources and climate change. The tool has been reviewed by industry experts and will continue to evolve in response to the inputs and growing levels of competence of its users and user groups.
